Hei! Today started off early with us having breakfast and packing lunch in our new lunch boxes! We went island hopping so first island was quite boring because we had to pay for the museums (which we didn't) so we pretty much just walked around the island. Second island (which I think is just 1 km across?) was more scenic and we went on a little hiking adventure around the perimeter. For dinner we had suan1 la4 minced meat and potatoes (super nice although too spicy) and scrambled eggs! Kind of reminds me of home. And then we had our post-dinner walk to the nearby lake and back. Kinda sad I can't really see stars in the night sky as of yet :(
Ystd being national day, we slept in (actually maybe only me) and caught the parade through live streaming. After that we started to prep for our national day dinner (invited the other maritime ppl and our russian neighbour) which was quite a success!! Best dinner yet! Then went for a walk around the lake with our russian neighbour and his friend, who told us the walk was 30 mins but ended up being over an hour long.
Anyway loving my exchange mates and this beautiful city!! Can't wait to explore more scenic and adventurous places :)
