Yay it's finally 366/366! Time for the obligatory post to sum up my year! Like JH said, 2012 has been a good long year full of new things and surprises. :)
The beginning of 2012 gave me new experiences with job hunting and working! Made me understand how impt it is to have a job you enjoy and to love what you do. Someone old tried to come back into my life but for all the wrong reasons. A level results were satisfactory - at least enuf for me to enter the course I wanted.
First time volunteering outside of school at Kidzreach which was definitely an eye opener and rewarding experience. First trip to USS! and 2012 celebrated our first year! First time shifting in a decade. First time returning to a DHS event (sports carn) as an alumni.
Towards August, first time joining NBS FOC. Met many people for the first time and made many new friends. Definitely a new brand new experience. Of course not forgetting HTOC which found me more new friends (a bunch of which are hopefully gonna stick with me throughout my days in NTU).
Trip to Gold Coast was one of my 2012 highlights with favourite people. Miss those days (and the weather!). 2012 said byebye to friends going abroad and left me wishing I could one day go places i've never been to as well. Definitely need to travel more.
Getting my driving license was also a big plus to my 2012. First time behind the wheel! First time cheerleading too (although I gave it up). At first overwhelmed with all the commitments: acads + many many hall commitments. But although uni+army meant less time for each other i'm so thankful that we still spend a lot of time together! Loved the Maroon 5 surprise!! So so thankful for you :)
Towards the end, mugging period + exams!!! After exams, first time cable skiing! and first visit to Cambodia! 3 days ago release of year 1 sem 1 results! Good for my standards! Super happy and hoping that I can maintain/improve next sem + sign up for exchange!!!!!!
2012 has been good to me. Quoting myself a year ago, 2013 will be better :)
